This home features clean, modern lines, balanced by natural woods and landscapes which helped coin the term Modern Southwest. We utilized much of the original floorplan of the home while expanding and adding on in several areas nearly doubling the size of the initial footprint. We raised ceiling heights, moved walls, added/removed doors and windows and so much more.
Modern Nest Approach
The iconic reclaimed wood gate that is seen in the entryway to the front patio of the home was original and we loved the feel that gate added architecturally. We made some modifications, but we let that gate drive much of the design inspiration for the home. The home also features tons of natural light and large open spaces. The clean, modern lines are balanced with natural woods and stunning tile selections throughout.
