This stunning spec home is a collaboration between several highly talented builders, designers and architects in the valley. We had the opportunity to work on the interior design and furnishings of this project. The client came to us after touring our Tulum House and were desiring a similar organic approach to contemporary desert living. We loved having the opportunity to embrace the Southwest style and infuse it's culture into this modern home with iconic mountain views.
THE DESIGN
The entire home was furnished and styled by Modern Nest and Market by Modern Nest, along with some additional lighting and hardware selections. We added our favorite Roman Clay texture to several walls in the home to create subtle movement and texture. Clean furniture lines juxtaposed vintage textiles, art and furnishings to soften the contemporary design. Lead Designer Misha West states, "In a more modern home, we always want to find pieces that round out the space for warmth and livability."
